Ferrous Engineering, LLC has been long in coming. Blacksmithing as a hobby as given me an opportunity to create many objects. It has also given me an opportunity to interact with people through the many public demonstrations. Turning the hobby into a business was the natural progression. This business will allow me to share my work and creativity with more people.
Ferrous Engineering, LLC was formed to provide the public with hand crafted metalwork. Much of the work produced by Ferrous Engineering is made by traditional hand forged hammer and anvil techniques. Some items utilize more modern methods. A few items like the fork art have nothing “old world” about them. Expanding into working with copper (specifically copper jewelry) has given me a new area to expand my creativity.
